DOGFARM 2019 SAUVIGNON BLANC, NAPA VALLEY

Our 2019 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a unique site in the Oakville AVA of Napa Valley. Sauvignon Blanc is a rarity in this appellation, a region dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, and we were thrilled to source grapes from mature vines planted in 1990.

• 96% Sauvignon Blanc; 4% Sauvignon Musque
• Whole cluster pressed; cold barrel fermentation in French oak (25% new); aged in barrels on the lees for 16 months
• 87 cases produced

This is a classic Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, opening immediately with aromas of passion fruit, citrus, lemon and white peaches. On the palate it is vibrant and fresh with tons of fruit and spice, excellent texture and well-integrated acid. The wine has great tension from the oak aging as well as a long finish. This is a lovely Sauvignon Blanc, great on its own or with nearly any food.
